La Gomera Island Full-Day Excursion

Your adventure begins with a pickup at your accommodation in southern Tenerife, after which we'll proceed to the Los Cristianos Ferry Terminal. Here, you will board a comfortable ferry, embarking on a scenic journey to La Gomera, lasting approximately 35 to 50 minutes. Upon arrival, we will disembark at San Sebastián de La Gomera, the charming capital of the island.

Upon getting off the ferry, we will board a bus that takes us into the lush interior of the island. During our drive, gaze upon La Gomera’s unique topography, including the striking Roque de Agando, a notable volcanic rock formation that soars over 1,000 meters. The panoramic views surrounding this geological marvel are truly stunning. Once at Garajonay National Park, your professional guide will lead you through its verdant forests, revealing the island's native flora and fauna. We will stop at Laguna Grande (Large Lagoon), an extensive area steeped in intriguing tales and legends, allowing some free time for you to explore at your own pace.

Leaving Garajonay behind, we will continue our journey to the island's northern region, with stops at the picturesque village of Hermigua and the quaint town of Agulo. Here, you will enjoy a traditional lunch that showcases local flavors.

Depending on your chosen itinerary, we may visit the stunning Vallehermoso viewpoint, perfect for capturing breathtaking photos.

Next, our route takes us to the southern part of the island for a brief guided exploration of San Sebastián de La Gomera. Your guide will share insights about Christopher Columbus's stop here during his quest for the New World, along with the history surrounding the 15th-century fortification, Torre del Conde, one of the oldest monuments in La Gomera's capital.

Following the tour, we will head back to the port to reboard the ferry for our return trip to Tenerife. Once we arrive at the Los Cristianos Ferry Terminal, we will provide transportation back to your hotel. Expect to conclude your day approximately 9 to 12 hours after your initial pickup.

The La Gomera excursion includes pickups between 7:15 and 8:30 am from several locations and accommodations in the southern part of Tenerife:

• Los Cristianos, La Caleta, and Playa de Las Américas.
• Depending on availability, additional pickups may be arranged at Los Gigantes, El Médano, Playa San Juan, San Miguel de Abona, Playa Paraíso, Golf del Sur/Costa del Silencio, Golf del Sur/Los Abrigos, and Costa del Silencio/Ten Bel.
