Hiking and Canyoning in Valle de los Lisos
Our journey begins bright and early at 8 am, where we will gather at route RP28 in Los Gigantes. After a concise technical briefing, we’ll equip ourselves with all the essential gear.
With preparations complete, we will embark on our hike covering approximately 19 to 21 kilometers (12-13 miles). This medium-high difficulty path will demand around 8 hours to traverse, as we ascend several peaks that soar to 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.
The trail leads us through one of the most rugged regions of the Valle de los Lisos Reserve, unveiled in the captivating Los Gigantes mountain range, situated in the Argentine province of Córdoba. Along the way, we will take breaks for rest, soak in the breathtaking scenery, and enjoy the picnic lunch you bring along.
Our trek along trail 16 will eventually take us to the majestic Truchas waterfall. Upon arrival, feel free to take a refreshing swim before we dive into the canyoning experience. Clad in wetsuits and life jackets, we’ll navigate several rivers squeezed between steep rock formations, challenging our agility and skills in this exhilarating natural playground!
At approximately 6 pm, our action-filled day will conclude as we return to the original meeting location.

At the scheduled time, we'll meet up in the Valle de los Lisos reserve, located at Ruta RP28 s/n Los Gigantes, Valle de Tanti, Córdoba. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early.

Important to Note
This activity is not recommended for pregnant women, people with a fear of water/swimming, or claustrophobia, and requires a good level of physical fitness.
