Guided Exploration of Fonte Baxa Garden
Meeting at the scheduled time, our journey will commence in the Fonte Baxa Garden, leading you through this splendid woodland in Luarca. Here, you will encounter an array of plant life, including camellias, rhododendrons, hollies, yews, birch trees, cedars, chestnuts, and numerous additional species!
Prepare to unveil the secrets of one of Europe's most expansive private botanical gardens! As we navigate through its pathways, insightful stories about its historical significance and the intriguing life of its creator, the Marquis of San Nicolás de Noras, José Rivera y Larraya, will be shared.
Your guided journey through the Fonte Baxa Garden will encompass its most notable landmarks, showcasing plants sourced globally. This unique exploration will transport you from the landscapes of Spain to the distant realms of Japan and Lebanon!
In addition, numerous artistic installations await your discovery, featuring a fountain from the House of Alba, as well as majestic Roman columns and the portico of a convent. The experience promises to be captivating!
As the tour concludes after approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, we will return to our initial meeting point for a fond farewell.
Tour with Picnic Option
Enhance your adventure by choosing the picnic option, which includes a serving of homemade meat or tuna pie, a sausage roll, a piece of fruit, a dessert, and water or a soft drink. This delightful picnic will be presented to you at the conclusion of our visit, allowing you to enjoy it within the beautiful settings of the Fonte Baxa Garden.
If preferred, a vegan picnic option is also available, comprising: a bottle of water, "La Galga" hummus made from green vegetables and chickpeas infused with La Vera paprika and organic sesame tahini, seasonal vegetable crudités, bread, and "La Galga" chocolates topped with nuts and coconut.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time at the Fonte Baxa store (El chano fonte Baxa la panera, 33700 Luarca, Asturias). We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes in advance.
Important
Since we'll be walking through the countryside, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and sunscreen and bringing an umbrella or raincoat in case of rain.
