Grindelwald Day Trip + Ski Class

For those seeking an adventurous day in the Swiss Alps, the excursion to Grindelwald from Lucerne is a must. Here, participants will have the opportunity to partake in a beginner's ski session at the renowned Bodmi Arena Ski Station.

Details of the Day Trip

The adventure begins at the Landenberg bus parking area in Lucerne, where we will gather at the specified time before embarking on a bus journey towards the canton of Bern.

Upon arrival in the area, our first stop will be a sports facility in Interlaken, where you will be outfitted with all the essential skiing gear. Once equipped, we will head to the charming alpine village of Grindelwald, home to the popular Bodmi Arena Ski Station. Should weather conditions not be ideal, our activities will be relocated to a nearby ski facility.

Bodmi Arena serves as an excellent venue for first-time skiers, offering 6000 square metres of space (approximately 64600 square feet) and 22 slopes. The ski instruction will take place in the designated beginner's area, making it an ideal setting for those looking to delve into this winter sport.

Ever wondered how to master the snowplough? Or what’s the optimal way to brake while skiing? During this 2.5-hour class, we will address these inquiries and more in a balanced session that includes both theoretical and practical components, all within a small group of 8 participants.

Following the ski lesson, you’ll enjoy some free time at the Bodmi Arena Ski Station in Grindelwald, providing the chance to practice your skills on the beginner's slopes. Various restaurants, bars, and cafés are available for you to savor a meal or a snack during your visit.

Finally, we will return to Interlaken to return the rental ski gear and commence our journey back to Lucerne, concluding this enriching 10-hour day trip.
