The journey begins as we stroll through the city's historic area, where the renowned Kapellbrücke, or Chapel Bridge, stands proudly. This remarkable structure, considered one of the oldest wooden bridges in Europe, spans the River Reuss and dates back to the 14th century, earning its place as one of the city's most photographed sites.

Adjacent to this bridge is the notable Wasserturm or Water Tower, another emblem of the old town's charm. We will then proceed across the Kapellbrücke to the opposite bank of the River Reuss, arriving at the Altes Rathaus: Lucerne’s ancient Town Hall, constructed in the 16th century and showcasing the elegance of the Florentine Renaissance architectural style.
