Activity Overview

Your adventure begins at the Amethys shop in Luosto, where we'll gather at your selected time. A guide will commence with an informative session focusing on the fundamental techniques of wilderness skiing. This is your introduction to one of Lapland’s beloved activities!

Equipped with skis and poles, we will step into the magical winter landscape of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. As we traverse this awe-inspiring, unspoiled snowy terrain, a profound sense of calm and serenity will envelop you.

Wilderness skiing is deeply ingrained in Finnish traditions, with young children learning the skill as soon as they begin to walk. During our trek, we will pause at a suitable campsite to refresh ourselves, enjoying a warm drink by the comforting fire.

Finally, we will make our way back to our starting location, concluding the activity after an enriching two and a half hours.
