Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Maceió at the designated time. Once we're ready, we'll set off on a 14-mile (23-kilometer) drive toward the Praia do Francês, a beach with warm waters in southern Alagoas. Let's go!

Once we reach the beach, located in the city of Marechal Deodoro, we'll go to Tropical, a restaurant where you'll have 5 hours of free time. Here, you can use the complex's loungers to relax under the sun and enjoy the turquoise waters of northeastern Brazil. In this coastal spot, you'll have the chance to practice aquatic sports and grab a bite to try the delicious cuisine.

Next, we'll return to Maceió to embark on a scenic tour of the "City of Smiles." Can you guess why it's called this? You'll find out as we reach the neighborhood of Jaraguá, the birthplace of the culture of the Alagoan capital. We'll explore the historic center strolling through its narrow streets, picturesque houses, and shops that emerged in the 19th century with the economic development of the port.

Then, we'll head to the Museum of Image and Sound and the Associação Comercial de Maceió, which will surprise you due to its elegance and size. We'll also visit the Praça Marsílio Dias, Praça Visconde de Sinimbú, Praça Floriano Peixoto, and Praça Dom Pedro II. Along the way, you'll also admire charming churches, such as the Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres, the Bom Jesus dos Martírios, and the Maceió Metropolitan Cathedral, inaugurated in 1856.

Before concluding our tour, we'll see other important buildings in the city, such as the Palácio de Governo (Palace of the Government), the Deodoro Theater, and the Academy of Letters of Alagoas. We'll then make a brief stop at the lookout at São Gonçalo do Amarante, where you'll find the chapel with the same name. Make sure your camera is ready!

We'll stop at the Crafts Pavilion before returning to your hotel, where you can admire Maceió's traditional artisanal crafts. You'll find bobbin lace, embroidery, decorative items, souvenirs, and other products. Take a souvenir from Alagoas back home!

Finally, we'll say goodbye at your hotel after approximately 9 hours.

You will start your journey with a hotel pickup at the scheduled time. After a brief introduction, we will head towards the Praia do Francês for a picturesque experience in the southern coastal region of Alagoas.

Upon arrival at the beach in Marechal Deodoro, you will have 5 hours of leisure time at the Tropical restaurant complex. This period allows you to enjoy the sun, participate in aquatic sports, or taste local gastronomy.

After the beach visit, we will proceed with a guided tour of Maceió, starting with the neighborhood of Jaraguá. You will explore the historic center, visiting landmarks such as the Museum of Image and Sound and various plazas like Praça Marsílio Dias and Praça Dom Pedro II. Numerous churches and significant buildings will also be part of this enriching experience, highlighting the elegance and history of the capital.

This tour includes a visit to various cultural sites and a stop at the Crafts Pavilion before concluding your day with a drop-off at your hotel.
