How Does it Work?
With this eSIM card, you'll have access to the Internet in various European countries, including: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
This means you can travel across Europe while staying connected to the Internet at all times. The amount of data available ranges from 1 GB to 50 GB, depending on your chosen option.
To install the eSIM card, simply follow the instructions sent to your email after booking. Once you've completed all the steps, you'll be ready to use your eSIM. Since it's an electronic card, there's no need to visit a physical location for activation. It's fast and straightforward!
eSIM Card Options
Depending on your data needs and the duration of your trip, you can choose from the following options when booking:
- 1 GB Card, valid for 7 days
- 3 GB Card, valid for 30 days
- 5 GB Card, valid for 30 days
- 10 GB Card, valid for 30 days
- 50 GB Card, valid for 90 days
- 100 GB Card, valid for 180 days
What are the Requirements?
There are only two requirements:
- Your phone must be compatible with eSIM technology. You can see a list of phones compatible with eSIM technology here.
- Your phone must be unlocked. A phone is considered unlocked when it can connect to any operator's network, while a locked phone restricts connectivity to only one operator's network.

How to Install the eSIM?
The eSIM Card can be installed in two ways: by QR code or manually.
Installation with QR code for Apple devices
- Go to 'Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM'.
- Choose 'Use QR code' and then scan the code.
- Click 'Activate eSIM' and then 'Continue'.
- Select a label or enter a custom name for later use. (Example: eSIM Civitatis).
- Choose the eSIM, enable 'Activate this line' and activate 'Data roaming'.
- Select your eSIM as the default network for 'Mobile data', when you arrive at your destination.
- IMPORTANT: Do not enable 'Allow mobile data switching'.
Installation with QR code for Android devices
- Go to 'Settings', tap 'Networks & Internet', then click the + sign next to 'SIM cards'.
- Click 'Download a SIM instead? ', then click 'Next' on the next page.
- When you see 'Scan network QR code', use your phone to scan the QR code, then click 'Download'.
- When the screen shows 'Download complete', click 'Settings'.
- Choose the eSIM from the 'SIM cards'.
- Activate 'Use SIM' and select 'Yes'.
- Activate 'Mobile data'.
- Activate 'Roaming' and then select 'OK'.
Manual Installation for Apple Devices
- Go to 'Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM'.
- Choose 'Use QR code', then tap 'Enter details manually' at the bottom.
- Enter the 'SM-DP+ address' and 'Activation code', which you will find on the Civitatis voucher labelled as IOS. Then click 'Next'.
- Tap 'Activate eSIM' and then 'Continue'.
- Select a label or enter a custom label for later use (Example: eSIM Civitatis).
- Choose the eSIM, enable 'Activate this line' and activate 'Data roaming'.
- Select your eSIM as the default network for 'Mobile data', when you arrive at your destination.
- IMPORTANT: Do not enable 'Allow mobile data switching'.
Manual Installation for Android Devices
- Go to 'Settings', tap 'Networks & Internet', then tap the + sign next to 'SIM cards'.
- Tap 'Download a SIM instead?', then tap 'Next' on the next page.
- Tap 'Need help?', then tap 'Enter manually'.
- Type in the Android code, which you'll find on the Civitatis voucher as "Android: Code" tap 'Continue' and then tap 'Download'.
- When the screen shows "Download complete", tap 'Settings'.
- Choose the eSIM from the 'SIM cards'.
- Activate 'Use SIM' and select 'Yes'.
- Activate 'Mobile Data'.
- Activate 'Roaming' and then select 'OK'.
