6-Day Tour of Lisbon, Porto & Fátima

Day 1: Departure from Madrid – Salamanca – Arrival in Porto

We will depart from Hotel Aloft Gran Via in Madrid at 8:30 am, traveling towards the Castilla-León region, making our first stop in Salamanca. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the stunning historic center at your leisure, where it becomes clear why this locale is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, we will cross into Portugal and conclude the day in Porto.

Day 2: Exploring Porto

After a hearty breakfast at our Porto hotel, we will embark on a city tour, renowned for its stunning bridges spanning the Douro River. The day includes a boat excursion along part of the river and a visit to a wine cellar for a tasting of exquisite Port wines. The evening will be spent at your accommodations in the city.

Day 3: Porto – Coímbra – Fátima

Leaving Porto, we will journey south to the charming town of Coímbra, famous for its rich tradition of fado music. Following this, we will visit the sanctuary of Fátima, a significant Catholic pilgrimage site in southern Europe, before settling in for the night in this revered town.

Day 4: Fátima – Batalha – Nazaré – Alcobaça – Lisbon

Following breakfast in Fátima, we will travel to the Batalha Monastery, a stunning example of Gothic and Manueline architecture recognized as a World Heritage Site. Our next stop will be the charming fishing village of Nazaré, where you will have free time for lunch. We will then proceed to Alcobaça, which features a stunning Gothic church and a Cistercian monastery with roots tracing back to the 12th century.

Our day will conclude with a trip to Lisbon, where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Discovering Lisbon

The fifth day will be dedicated to uncovering the squares and streets of the captivating city of Lisbon, deemed one of Europe’s most beautiful capitals. The afternoon is free for you to continue exploring independently or to consider an optional excursion to Sintra. We will end the day at your hotel.

Day 6: Lisbon – Cáceres – Return to Madrid

On the final day, we will leave Portugal and head back to Madrid, making a stop in the historically significant city of Cáceres, renowned for its blend of Renaissance palaces, Islamic architecture, and medieval fortress houses, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explore the old quarter, its medieval district, and the Plaza Mayor. The tour concludes in Madrid around 7:30 pm.

Pricing Information

Prices are per person based on shared double occupancy. A supplement will apply for solo travelers desiring a single room.

Children under 4 years of age can board free when sharing a room with two adults, with a limit of one child per room. For children aged 4 to 7 years, the fee is applicable based on age, also limited to one child per room when sharing with two adults.
