Why Visit the Prado Museum?
Located in the Paisaje de la Luz area in central Madrid, the Prado Museum is a major art gallery with 7600 paintings and 1000 sculptures. It showcases works by Velázquez, El Greco, Rubens, El Bosco, and Goya, including masterpieces like Las Meninas and The Garden of Earthly Delights.
This ticket grants access to the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions on your visit date, although some temporary exhibitions may require a separate time pass on the day of your visit due to limited availability.
Audio Guide
You can choose the option that includes an audio guide, available in English, covering nearly 300 works in the permanent collection and main temporary exhibitions.
Skip-the-Line Tickets
Your ticket includes administration fees of 3 EUR per person and allows you to skip the queue at the ticket office. A security check and queue for entry are still required.
Museum Opening Times
- The Prado Museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 7 pm.
- Final admission is 30 minutes before closing, with clearance starting 10 minutes before.
- The museum is closed on January 1, May 1, and December 25.
You'll select a time slot for your visit, with confirmation within 72 hours of booking.
Discounted Ticket
Large families, seniors over 65, and young people with a valid Youth Card can access the museum at a reduced rate by purchasing tickets at the museum ticket office.
Free Ticket
Admission is free for certain groups during specified times: Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to 8 pm, and Sundays and public holidays from 5 pm to 7 pm. It is also free on November 19 and May 18.
If you have a general admission ticket purchased through Civitatis and want to reserve a free or reduced-price ticket, go to the ticket office at Puerta de Goya with relevant documents.
Only accredited tourist guides and ICOM card holders can enter through the Jerónimos Gate without prior ticket office clearance.

The Prado Museum is located at: Paseo del Prado s/n, 28014 Madrid.
You can get there by metro, as the Estación del Arte stop (line 1, the light blue one) and the Banco de España stop (line 2, the red one) are about a 5-minute walk from the museum.
The entrances are as follows:
- Puerta de Jerónimos (Calle Felipe IV s/n): visit the temporary exhibitions and the collection. Preferential access for people with reduced mobility
- Puerta de Goya (Calle Felipe IV s/n): visit to the collection
You only need to show the provider's voucher from your phone. It's not necessary to print the voucher.

Audio Guide
If you booked the option with an audio guide, you can pick up the device with the audio guide in English in the lobbies of the Puerta de los Jerónimos and the Rotonda de Goya Alta.
Skip-the-Line Ticket
Your ticket includes administration fees: 3EUR per person.
Also, by booking this ticket, you'll skip the queue at the museum's ticket office. However, you will still have to go through the security check and queue to enter the building.

- In all cases, final admission to the museum is 30 minutes before closing time. Clearance from the rooms starts 10 minutes before closing time.

Discounted Ticket

Free Ticket
Admission to the Prado Museum is free for the following groups.
The general public can enter free of charge Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to 8 pm, and on Sundays and public holidays from 5 pm to 7 pm. It is also free on November 19 and May 18.
If you have already purchased a general admission ticket with Civitatis and wish to reserve another free or reduced-price ticket, you can go with your reservation to the ticket office located at Puerta de Goya. There you will have to wait in line and, if the accrediting documents you present are valid, you will be given a free or reduced-price ticket.
Only official tourist guides, duly accredited, and ICOM card holders, can enter through the Jerónimos Gate without going through the ticket office beforehand.
