From this picturesque area, we proceed past the Puerta de Alcalá, a landmark commissioned by King Carlos III, before arriving at Plaza de Cibeles to admire the stunning facades of both the Palacio de Linares and the Palacio de Cibeles, which now serves as Madrid's City Hall.

Following our visit to the town hall, we’ll stroll along Calle de Alcalá and Gran Vía, where we pause to appreciate the Círculo de Bellas Artes and the Instituto Cervantes. Our route continues to Puerta del Sol, home to the administrative headquarters of the Community of Madrid. A short walk away lies Plaza Mayor, notable for its 17th-century statue of King Felipe III.

The exploration carries on down Calle Mayor, with a stop at the Mercado de San Miguel and the charming Plaza de la Villa, featuring the historic Torre de los Lujanes, one of the city's oldest structures.

As we make our way from Plaza de la Villa, we will turn onto Bailén Street and, after 2.5 to 5 hours of discovery, enjoy views of the striking Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace of Madrid from the exterior.
