Embark on a journey to explore Toledo and Segovia, two of Spain's most renowned cities, during this day-long excursion from Madrid. Experience the charm of the “City of Three Cultures” alongside the impressive Roman aqueduct.

Day Trip Overview

The adventure begins at 7:45 am, where we will gather outside of the Las Ventas metro station in Madrid. We'll board a bus bound for Toledo and Segovia, learning about their recognition as UNESCO World Heritage Sites!

Our first destination is Toledo, often referred to as the "City of Three Cultures" due to its rich historical connections with three major religions that have coexisted for centuries.

As we stroll through Toledo's ancient alleys, squares, and parks, you'll experience its rich architectural and artistic legacy. Key highlights include the Cathedral of Toledo, a prime example of Spanish Gothic artistry, and the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, chosen by the Catholic Monarchs as their burial site. Before heading to Segovia, we’ll pause for breathtaking views of the city from San Martín Bridge and the Mirador del Valle viewpoint.

Next, we venture to Segovia, where the incredible Aqueduct stands out as one of the best-preserved Roman monuments on the Iberian Peninsula. We will visit the Cathedral of Segovia, affectionately known as the "Lady of the Cathedrals" due to its stunning Gothic and Renaissance architecture.

We’ll then meander through the Canonjías neighborhood, arriving at the iconic Alcázar, a highly visited historical site in Spain, which offers views of the remnants of the Medieval walls that used to encircle Segovia.

After a fulfilling day of exploration, we will return to Madrid, concluding our tour after approximately 11 hours.

Available Ticket Choices

When reserving your tour to Toledo and Segovia, you may select one of three available options:

• Tour without tickets: This choice covers transportation and guided tours in both cities. During the free time allowed, you can independently explore the local attractions while the group visits the monuments.
• Tour with tickets: This option includes transportation, guided tours in both cities, along with entrance tickets to the Alcázar and Segovia Cathedral, permitting a visit at your own pace. An informative walking tour in Toledo integrates landmarks such as Plaza de Zocodover, the Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, Santa María La Blanca Synagogue, El Tránsito Synagogue, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, and the San Martín Bridge.
• Tour with tickets and lunch: In addition to previous inclusions, this option offers a meal at a local restaurant. Lunch arrangements vary depending on your departure time: those attending the 7:45 am tour will dine in Segovia, while those on the 9 am tour will have lunch in Toledo.
