Operational Method

This wine bus functions as a convenient hop-on, hop-off service. This means you can board and disembark at will at any designated stop. The bus adheres to a set itinerary with predetermined stops at various wineries, allowing you the freedom to select the ones you wish to explore during your excursion.

Route Overview & Stops

The Maipú Wine Route connects prominent vineyards and wineries located in Maipú, situated within the Mendoza province. As you travel on the wine bus, you will visit the key centers of wine tourism in Maipú, making it a delightful experience for enthusiasts of exquisite Argentine wines.

It’s important to note that the ticket does not cover admission fees to the wineries, wine tastings, or lunch. However, presenting your bus ticket at the respective wineries and restaurants grants access to exclusive discounts for tastings and meals.

While booking, you can opt for one of the following tour selections:

Afternoon Tour (4 Hours & 45 Minutes)

This itinerary includes visits to two wineries: López Winery and Los Toneles Winery.

• Schedule: departure at 2:15 pm and return at 7 pm

Morning Tour (6 Hours & 15 Minutes)

This option allows you to visit two wineries: starting with Casa Vigil and then heading to Corazón de Lulunta.

• Schedule: departure at 7:55 am and return at 2:10 pm

Full-Day Tour (11 Hours)

This itinerary includes stops at three wineries: Casa Vigil Winery, Corazón de Lulunta, and Los Toneles Winery. You also have the option to enjoy lunch at either Club Tapiz or López Winery.

• Schedule: departure at 7:55 am and return at 7 pm

Casa Vigil Winery: this winery, themed around Dante's Divine Comedy, offers a sensory exploration through its special rooms and tunnels, concluding with a tasting of its renowned wines, El Enemigo and Gran Enemigo.

Corazón de Lulunta: combining olive cultivation with winemaking and architecture, this winery provides tastings of extra virgin olive oil and wine in a setting that honors the founders' dedication to Mendoza's land.

López Winery: established in 1898, this historic family business showcases tours that delve into its rich heritage, production methods, and tastings of its notable wines, including Montchenot and Rincón Famoso.

Club Tapiz: celebrated for its diverse vineyards and commitment to sustainability, this winery features guided tours, tastings of top wines, and a culinary experience influenced by French cuisine. Additionally, horse-drawn carriage rides through the vineyards are available.

Los Toneles Winery: opened in 1922, this urban winery blends tradition with modernity. It is known for its premium wine tastings, such as Tonel 46 and Tonel 78, captivating with their elegance and showcasing the essence of Mendoza.
