Himmafushi & Huraa Island Day Trip

Experience a tranquil day on the enchanting islands of Himmafushi and Huraa. Revel in the stunning scenery of the Indian Ocean and the hospitality of the islanders.

Day Excursion to Huraa & Himmafushi Islands

The adventure begins at 10 am as we gather at the Hulhumale jetty in Malé. From there, we will board a speedboat, embarking on our journey north towards Huraa Island.

During our time on Huraa, you'll have the opportunity to witness the local lifestyle, including a demonstration of the traditional fish-curing method. We will also explore the renowned mangroves of Huraa and discover a magnificent freshwater lake. After taking in the sights of this idyllic island, we will continue our voyage to the next stop: Himmafushi.

Upon arrival at Himmafushi, we will guide you to a local eatery where you can refuel with a delightful buffet lunch. Following your meal, you'll enjoy some leisure time to stroll the island and perhaps pick up a handmade keepsake.

We will then set off again, but prior to our return to Hulhumale, we’ll make a stop for you to dive into the crystal-clear waters for snorkeling. The Maldives' waters are rich in biodiversity, allowing you to swim alongside a variety of tropical fish and vibrant coral reefs. With a bit of luck, you might even encounter a sea turtle, reef shark, or stingray.

After a captivating exploration beneath the waves, we will return to Malé, arriving around 4:30 pm.
