Our day begins with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Managua. A short drive of 45 minutes will take us to the Masaya Volcano, where you will learn about its fascinating history, including ancient rituals performed in honor of the fire goddess Chaciutique.

Next, we will visit the Catarina Viewpoint, just a half-hour journey from the volcano, where you will be treated to magnificent panoramas of the surrounding landscape. Afterwards, we will proceed to the captivating shore of the Apoyo Lagoon, a stunning body of water located within the crater of a former volcano.

Here, take a moment to unwind with a cold drink beside the tranquil lake. For those who seek adventure, a refreshing swim in the lagoon’s inviting waters is an excellent option. You will then have ample free time to enjoy lunch in this serene setting.

As our memorable trip concludes, we will leave the Apoyo Lagoon and return to your hotel in Managua, completing our journey in approximately 6 hours.
