Description

We will begin this tour to the Sakhir Desert by collecting you from your hotel or the airport in Manama at the agreed time. Are you excited to explore some of the most iconic sites in Bahrain?

Your first destination will be the Royal Camel Farm, established by an Arab sheikh named Mohammed Bin Salman Al Khalifa. Here, you will have the opportunity to engage with the camels and converse with their caretakers.

Following that, we will proceed to the fascinating Bahrain International Circuit, the premier venue for Formula 1 races in the Middle East. You won’t want to miss taking a picture beside an F1 car!

Our journey will take us to the first oil site in the Gulf region, which was the location of the first oil well discovered back in 1931.

The adventure continues as we explore the striking Tree of Life, approximately 400 years old and reaching a remarkable height of 10 metres (32.8 feet). Surprisingly, it is the only tree or plant in the surrounding landscape.

Next, we will visit a pottery workshop where artisans will demonstrate the art of crafting clay pots. Our final destination will be the ancient Dilmun Burial Mounds, which date back 4200 years!

This 4-hour tour will conclude as we return to the initial meeting point.
