Pinatubo Volcano Excursion
Description
Embark on a captivating Mount Pinatubo tour from Manila, where you can discover the wonders of an active volcano's crater, enjoy some thrilling off-roading, and immerse yourself in a historic village.
Description
Your journey commences at Abraham Manila (Abraham Hostel) as we set out on an adventure to Mount Pinatubo, famous for its significant eruption, the second-largest of the 20th century. Known as the "most beautiful disaster" in the Philippines, the vistas in this region are truly stunning.
The day begins with a bus ride to Camp Kainomayan, where the real adventure commences with an invigorating off-roading segment, which leads us to the starting point of our hiking expedition. We will navigate through expansive volcanic lahars and gentle streams, allowing us to truly engage with this remarkable landscape. Here, the overwhelming power of nature resonates, sparking a feeling of vitality.
Subsequently, we will embark on our hike to the volcanic crater. As we proceed, an extraordinary lake with crystal-clear turquoise waters will catch your eye, beckoning for photographs. A moment will be set aside to relish lunch in this breathtaking environment.
On our return journey in the off-roading vehicle, we will make a stop at a nearby Aeta village. The Aeta community, among the first indigenous groups in the Philippines, will share insights into their rich history and everyday traditions.
We will conclude this exhilarating 17-hour expedition by returning you to the original pickup location.
