Pereira Exploration with Banana Plantation Tour

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Manizales at 8 am, setting off southward to Pereira, the heart of Risaralda department.

As we travel, we will make a stop to appreciate the scenic pineapple fields around Pereira. Following this, you will have the chance to savor one of the region's most authentic dishes, the arepa de choclo, a flavorful corn cake served with a tantalizing salsa.

Continuing our journey, we’ll arrive at Pereira, a vibrant city enveloped in the rich scent of coffee, renowned for being the largest city within the celebrated Coffee Triangle. We will take a leisurely walk through the historic districts, visiting notable landmarks such as Plaza Simón Bolívar, featuring a statue of the national hero, the Our Lady of Poverty Cathedral, and the impressive César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct.

Next, we will head to the outskirts to explore a banana plantation, where you will gain insight into the intricacies of cultivating this beloved fruit. Have you ever wondered about the process behind that sweet and creamy pulp? We will reveal all the details during our visit!
