Tour of the Mangroves in Manuel Antonio
At the scheduled time, our team will collect you from your accommodation and transfer you to the dock in Manuel Antonio. Prepare to navigate this stunning natural park!
We will traverse part of the Damas Island estuary, a wetland area where you can enjoy the untouched beauty of Costa Rica's landscapes. Stay alert for sightings of white-faced capuchins, anteaters, herons, crocodiles, snakes, and frigate birds.
While exploring, you will have the opportunity to observe up to six distinct types of mangroves, including black, white, and red mangroves. These plants play a vital role in sheltering various animal species, such as honey bees, providing them a safe environment.
In conclusion of this journey, we will make our way back to shore and return you to your hotel, with the entire experience lasting approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

This excursion includes pickups from hotels located in Manuel Antonio. For those not staying within the area, we will convene at 9 am at one of the following locations, from where you can follow the guide to the dock by vehicle.

If you've chosen the hotel pick up option, we'll pick you up at 8:45 am. We recommend being ready in the hotel lobby 10 minutes early so we can avoid delays.

If you've chosen the tour without hotel pick up, please be ready at 9 am at one of the following meeting points:
- El Avión Restaurant (carretera 618, Provincia de Puntarenas, Aguirre, Costa Rica) in front of the Selina Manuel Antonio Hotel.
- Quepos Church (calle 5, Provincia de Puntarenas, Quepos, Costa Rica).
Important
- If you have chosen the tour without pick up, you'll need to go from the meeting points to the docks in your own car. The guide will drive in front of you in their vehicle so you can follow them.
- If the timetable needs to be changed due to the tides, the local provider will contact you to confirm a new start time for the activity.
