Ceuta & Tétouan Day Trip
Description
Experience the rich tradition, vibrant culture, and exquisite cuisine on the Day Trip to Ceuta & Tétouan. This journey will take you across the African continent, where you'll explore historic landmarks and enjoy a captivating folk performance.
Description
At the designated time, we'll collect you from your selected meeting location and begin our journey to the Port of Algeciras via bus. Upon arrival, we will board a ferry that will transport us to Africa.
After approximately one hour crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, we will reach Ceuta. Our next step involves heading towards the Morocco-Spain border. After crossing into Morocco, we will continue by bus to Tétouan, where we will spend around five hours exploring.
We will start our visit with a guided walking tour to experience some of the key sites in this Moroccan city. Our stroll will take us through Hassan II Square, home to the Royal Palace, and we’ll meander through the narrow lanes of the old Jewish quarter before entering the vibrant souk. Our exploration will lead us to the Medina of Tétouan, a recognized World Heritage Site celebrated for its distinctive white walls and green gates.
After the tour, we’ll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. As we savor traditional dishes such as harira soup, couscous, kebabs, mint tea, and Moroccan pastries, we’ll be entertained by a traditional folk show.
Following lunch, we’ll visit a Moroccan pharmacy, where a variety of natural products awaits, including the renowned argan oil and its many benefits.
We’ll then return to the bus to head back to Ceuta and catch the ferry. On our journey back, we’ll glimpse some of the notable sights of the city like the San Felipe Moat and the Royal Walls, which will be viewed from the bus.
After an adventurous day lasting between 12 and 18 hours, we’ll drop you back off at your original meeting point.
