Northern Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Ride

Activity Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation, followed by a northbound journey lasting approximately 35 minutes to an hour, as we leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and head to our launch site. While the early departure may seem daunting, the rewards will greatly exceed your expectations!

Once we reach our destination, the inflation of the balloon commences, marking the true beginning of our adventure! Early morning provides optimal conditions for a flight with the gentle breeze and the enchanting light of dawn.

As we ascend, you will float serenely for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on prevailing wind and weather conditions—an idyllic and memorable escapade.

Following the landing, savor traditional breakfast and tea with local communities before we embark on our return trip along beautiful 4x4 paths.

The entire experience lasts around 4 to 5 hours from start to finish.

Flight Options

When making your reservation, you can select your preferred time for the balloon ride, which varies throughout the day. The schedules for each option, depending on the season, are as follows:

• Morning Flight:
  • Between November 1 and February 28, rides commence at 6:30 am.
  • From March 1 to May 31, the start time is at 6 am.
  • From June 1 to August 31, expect a 5 am launch.
  • From September 1 to October 31, departures start at 6 am.
• Later Flight:
  • Between November 1 and February 28, rides begin between 7 am and 7:15 am.
  • From March 1 to May 31, start times are between 6:45 am and 7 am.
  • From June 1 to August 31, the start occurs between 5:45 am and 7 am.
  • From September 1 to October 31, expect a start time between 6:45 am and 7 am.

Please be aware that the schedule for the later flight may adjust based on organizational and weather conditions. Confirmations of flight times will be provided following your booking.

Adjustments to Itinerary

For logistical reasons, the tea and breakfast can be served either before or after the flight, ensuring we take advantage of the ideal time for takeoff.
