5-Day Private Tour Overview

Day 1: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and Dades Valley

Your adventure begins with an 8 am departure from Marrakech heading towards Ouarzazate. On the way, marvel at the stunning vistas of the Atlas Mountains, which is one of Morocco's prominent mountain ranges. A highlight of this day will be crossing Tizi n'Tichka, the highest road stretch in North Africa, reaching an impressive altitude of 2,260 meters.

We will make a notable stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its striking scenery that has served as a backdrop for numerous films, including Gladiator. Continuing to Ouarzazate, we will visit the renowned film studios before concluding our day in the serene Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Valley to Todra Gorges and Mharech Gorges

We start the day by traveling through several charming Berber villages on our way to the Todra Gorges. These gorges are known for their impressive rocky formations. Following this, we will journey to the Mharech Gorges, navigating parts of the historic Dakar Rally route.

By late afternoon, we will reach our accommodations at a typical desert riad in Mharech, where you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the starlit sky.

Day 3: Mharech to Ramlia Oasis, Ouzina Dunes, and Merzouga

After breakfast at our riad, we will embark on an exploration of dry riverbeds and picturesque dunes, making our way to the Ramlila Oasis. Our next destination will be the Ouzina dunes, where we will exchange our all-terrain jeep for an authentic camel ride through the magnificent Moroccan desert.

Our camel journey leads us to the majestic Merzouga desert, where we will spend the night sleeping in traditional haimas.

Day 4: Experiencing the Merzouga Desert

This day immerses us in the tranquility of the Merzouga desert, allowing us to disconnect from the modern world. Following breakfast, we can enjoy an exhilarating 4x4 jeep tour through the diverse landscapes. Here, we will encounter nomadic Berber tribes by the Erg Chebbi dunes, the tallest in Morocco, and learn to appreciate the world around us beyond our screens.

Our cultural journey will continue in Khamlia, a quaint village known for its vibrant folk music performances. After this enriching experience, we will return to our desert haima for the evening.

Day 5: Rissani, Ziz Valley, Middle Atlas, and Fez

We will start our final day with breakfast surrounded by the dunes of Merzouga before heading to Rissani, historically the capital of the Alaouite sultans. Continuing our route, we will pass through the stunning Ziz Valley and into the Middle Atlas, eventually arriving in Ifrane, renowned for its picturesque landscapes that have earned it the title of "Moroccan Switzerland."

Our journey concludes in the vibrant city of Fez, the endpoint of our itinerary.

Ending in Marrakech
