Embark on a 4-day trekking adventure in the heart of Morocco, where you'll explore some of the most renowned valleys nestled in the Atlas Mountains.

Four Valleys & Amazigh Villages: A 4-Day Journey

Day 1: Departure from Marrakech to Tiziane via Tizi n'Tachte

Beginning our journey, we'll board a minibus at your hotel in Marrakech, embarking towards the captivating Atlas Mountains. The initial trek spans 6 hours, segmented into three parts with a break for lunch.

The first section will be a gentle acclimatization hike, traversing through cornfields and captivating forests of pine and juniper until we reach the height of Tizi n'Tachte, standing at 6,561 feet (2,000 meters). This vantage point offers stunning views of the Imlikl and Ait Oussaden valleys.

Continuing our journey, we will encounter the remarkable natural bridge of Imi n'Ifri, while indulging in a picnic as we delve into the traditional Amazigh tales associated with the area. Our day concludes at Tiziane, where a cozy refuge awaits us with dinner prepared.

Day 2: Tiziane to D'knt via Tizi n'Taghrhourte

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, we will set forth on our adventure. The route leads us through the Oussaden valley, showcasing the majestic Tizi n'Taghrhourte peak, reaching 6,545 feet (1,995 meters). We will trek for 2.5 hours until we arrive at the refreshing Assaka spring, where we will enjoy a picnic meal.

The afternoon will continue with a hike through lush greenery toward the Amazigh village of D'knt. Following dinner, we will spend the night rejuvenating in the refuge until morning light.

Day 3: D'knt to Tizi Oussem via Tizi n'Tagdalte

With a delicious breakfast to fuel us, we will commence a 3-hour hike to face the day. Our journey takes us across fields of corn and barley, and through walnut groves, all while admiring the breathtaking backdrop of the Tizi n'Tagdalte mountains and observing the pastoral life of sheep and their shepherds.

This segment will guide us to a serene spring, perfect for a relaxing picnic before we resume our trek. After replenishing our energies, we will continue for another 3 hours towards the village of Tizi Oussem, where a welcoming mountain lodge awaits us for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Tizi Oussem to Imlil via Azib Tamsoult

Our final day is dedicated to discovering a stunning waterfall at Azib Tamsoult, a true treasure within Toubkal National Park. After soaking in the beauty of this natural spectacle, we will navigate over the Tizi Mzik mountains to arrive at the village of Imlil.

Post a scenic break to recharge, we will board the minibus for our return to your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
