Discover the four cities that were once the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco on our Imperial Cities 6-day tour package. You'll visit Casablanca, Fez, Meknes, and Rabat, as well as the breathtaking Merzouga Desert!
Tour Details
Day 1: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat
We'll pick you up from your hotel, riad, or the airport in the morning. Our journey includes a visit to the Hasan II Mosque in Casablanca and a stroll through the Old Medina. Afterward, we'll travel to Rabat for the night.
Day 2: Rabat - Meknes - Fez
After breakfast, we'll begin a guided tour of Rabat, visiting the Royal Palace, Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and Kasbah Udayas. We will then visit Meknes and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. The day concludes with an overnight stay in Fez.
Day 3: Fez
Our third day focuses on Fez, visiting key sites such as the Merinid tombs and the Medina. We will return to our hotel for the night.
Day 4: Fez - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga
After breakfast, we will drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and Ziz Valley, visiting villages like Midelt and Erfoud. We will then ride camels into the Merzouga Desert for an overnight camp experience.
Day 5: Merzouga - Todra and Dades Gorges
We’ll catch the sunrise over Merzouga, have breakfast, and then travel through the Todra Gorges and visit local Amazigh villages, ending the day in Dades Valley.
Day 6: Dades Gorge - Ouarzazate
We'll have breakfast and head towards the Skoura palm grove and Ouarzazate, known for its film locations. We will cross the Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech around 6:30 pm for our farewell.

Accommodation includes double rooms at:
- Rabat: Various hotels such as Des Ouidaias or Hotel Malak
- Fez: Riad options or similar
- Merzouga: Standard or Superior Haima Camp with private bathrooms
- Dades Valley: Options like Auberge Panorama or similar
Pickup & Drop-Off Points
The tour starts in Marrakech, with pickup options from the airport, your hotel, or a convenient city point. It ends in Marrakech, with options to stay or be taken to the airport.
Temporary Closures
Meknes is closed for renovations until further notice, but we will conduct a brief scenic tour around the historical centre.

Meknes is closed for renovations until further notice, so it will not be possible to visit this Imperial City. However, we will go on a brief scenic tour around the city's historical centre.
