Day 1: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat

Welcome to Morocco! We will pick you up at the airport in Marrakesh, or at your hotel or riad in the city, and depart north. Our first stop will be Casablanca, the economic heart of Morocco. Here, we will explore the important sites, including the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques.

You will have free time for lunch in Casablanca, followed by continued travel towards the capital, Rabat. In Rabat, we will visit Méchouar (the walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Kasbah of the Oudayas, and the impressive Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II. We will spend the night in Rabat.

Day 2: Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fez

After breakfast, we will head to Meknes, an important imperial city founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids, known for its magnificent palaces, stunning mosques, and vibrant souks.

Next, we will travel to the Roman Ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A break for lunch at a local restaurant will follow.

The day will conclude with dinner at a central hotel in Fez where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Fez

On Day 3, we will delve into the historic city of Fez, the oldest imperial city in Morocco, founded in the 8th century by Idris II.

We will explore Fes El Bali, the city’s ancient walled area, recognized as one of the largest preserved medieval sites globally, designated a UNESCO World Heritage center for over three decades.

In the Medina, we will visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa, featuring a beautifully decorated patio. Following this, we will go to Funduq Al-Najjarin and the Zaouia of Moulay Idris, the tomb of Idris II.

Finally, we will visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, part of the oldest university established in 880, before concluding with a visit to Fes Jdid, the modern part of the city.

Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Ouzoud Falls

Leaving Fez, we will travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by the beautiful towns of Ifrane and Azrou. During the scenic drive through cedar forests, you might spot Barbary macaques.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will conclude the day at the stunning Ouzoud Falls, an impressive natural feature, before heading to a hotel in the area for the night.

Day 5: Ouzoud Falls - Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel in Ouzoud, we will make our way to Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your selected hotel or riad. If needed, we can also arrange for transport to the city’s airport.

Single room bookings are not available; only double rooms are offered. Triple or family rooms can be arranged upon request.

Children Under 3

Children under 3 can join this trip for free. Children over 3 will be charged the same price as adults.

Temporary closures

Please note that Meknes is currently closed for renovation, and as such, this Imperial City will not be visited.
