Sataya Reef Boat Trip + Snorkeling with Dolphins

Embark on an unforgettable journey to Sataya Reef, where you'll have the chance to snorkel with dolphins within this stunning marine reserve situated in the Red Sea.

Activity Overview

Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Marsa Alam at the appointed time, after which we will travel to Hamata port. Here, we'll board a vessel destined for the renowned Sataya Reef, the natural habitat of the spinner dolphins of the Red Sea.

During our 2-hour snorkeling experience, you'll dive into the vibrant undersea world, surrounded by colorful coral reefs while swimming alongside these playful dolphins. Witness their remarkable acrobatics as they leap and spin through the water!

Post snorkeling, you'll return to the boat for a satisfying buffet lunch, complemented by cool drinks and fresh fruit. After your meal, we'll set off on a boat excursion around Sataya Reef, where we'll discover its hidden caves and mesmerizing tunnels. Along this journey, you might also spot other marine creatures and beautifully colored insects like butterflies.

As our day comes to a close, we will navigate back to Hamata port, where transportation will be ready to return you to your hotel in Marsa Alam. The entire experience is expected to last around 9 hours from the time of your initial pick-up.

Airport Transfer

Transfers are also available from Marsa Alam International Airport, but please keep in mind there is an additional charge of 10 EUR per person for this service. During the reservation process, you can indicate whether you prefer airport pick-up or collection from your hotel.

Itinerary Adjustments

Bear in mind that sightings of wildlife in their natural environment can vary due to weather and biological factors outside of our control. Therefore, while Sataya Reef is our primary destination, if conditions are not favorable for dolphin encounters, the itinerary may shift to include Samadai Reef, also known as Dolphin House.

Both spots are recognized as the premier locations for observing dolphins in the Red Sea, ensuring that any changes made will aim to enhance the chances of an unforgettable swim alongside these remarkable creatures on that particular day.
