Once we’re equipped with our electric bicycles, we’ll gradually dive into the surrounding nature. Throughout the excursion, intriguing tales about the area, its agricultural history, and the lives of its residents will be shared. We’ll pass by historic farms and may spot sheep and cows grazing nearby, a timeless scene that embodies the essence of rural life!

A major highlight of our ride will be a stop at a scenic viewpoint, where we will enjoy a breathtaking panorama of Matera, recognized as one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities globally. Here, we’ll gaze at the magnificent Sassi di Matera, a network of cave dwellings carved from stone, which has earned its status as a World Heritage Site.

Following this memorable experience, we’ll return to the heart of the city, concluding our ride at a charming local bakery. Here, we will indulge in a mouthwatering freshly baked focaccia, a delightful way to wrap up our biking adventure!
