Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Saly, as we make our way south towards the Saloum Delta National Park. After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will arrive at the traditional fishing village of Ndangane. Here, we will leave our vehicle behind and embark on a motorized canoe that will navigate us into the heart of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will glide through the tranquil waters of the Sine and Saloum rivers that nourish the Delta. Throughout our expedition, you will experience the beauty of salt marshes, canals, and mangrove swamps. If fortune smiles upon us, we may encounter stunning birds such as pelicans, herons, cormorants, and kingfishers.

Afterward, we'll make a stop at one of the local restaurants in the park area, offering you a chance to enjoy a delicious traditional meal (not included). Following your meal and a moment of relaxation, we will visit a tribal village inhabited by the Niominka community, who depend on fishing for their livelihood along the Delta.

As we delve into the rich traditions and customs of this ethnic group, we will then begin our journey back to Saly.
