The Salnés Valley boasts a rich winemaking heritage. Join us on a guided exploration of the Vionta Winery in Meaño, where you will also enjoy a tasting session featuring three distinct Albariño wines.
Tour Overview
At the arranged time, we will convene at the main entrance of the Vionta Winery to commence our informative tour of this exceptional wine tourism destination in Meaño, located in the province of Pontevedra.
Initially, we will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine before embarking on a journey through the Vionta Winery. Here, we will uncover the winemaking customs of Salnés Valley. From the winery’s observation point, we will enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Ria de Pontevedra.
Upon concluding the winery visit, participants will enjoy a tasting of 3 varieties of Albariño wines, including notable selections such as Vionta Godello, Depende, and Vionta.
This guided experience, including the wine tasting, will take approximately 1.5 hours.

When reserving your spot at the Vionta Winery, you can select from the following choices:
- Tour + Preserves Tasting: By opting for this experience, your visit would be complemented with a delightful tasting of three wines alongside an assortment of three canned seafood delicacies sourced from the Galician Rías: sardines, razor clams, and cockles. All are hand-prepared by the esteemed cannery A Conserveira. Indulge in exquisite flavors from the Rías Baixas!
- Tasting + Galician Cheese Pairing: This selection offers the chance to sample three wines alongside a platter of three renowned Galician cheeses. Taste the world-famous Tetilla cheese, celebrated for its unique flavor and texture, as well as the distinctive San Simón da Costa cheese, known for its delightful smoked character. Additionally, enjoy the gourmet Galmesán cheese, crafted with love and care since 2018 for aficionados of Galician country life.

Important information
10 minutes before the indicated time, meet us at the entrance of the Vionta Winery, located on the outskirts of Meaño (Pontevedra). Please be punctual.

In order to make the visit as pleasant as possible, we would like to remind you of the importance of being respectful to other visitors, so it's forbidden to come to the winery in fancy dress.
In order not to alter the winemaking process, the winery maintains a stable temperature of between 14 and 16 degrees Celcius throughout the year. For this reason, we recommend wearing warm clothes.
