The Salnés Valley boasts a long-standing tradition in winemaking. This experience allows you to explore its offerings through a guided visit to the Vionta Winery in Meaño, complemented by a tasting of three Albariño wines.
Tour Overview
At the scheduled time, we will gather at the main entrance of the Vionta Winery to commence our guided exploration of this notable wine tourism venue located in Meaño, within the province of Pontevedra.
After a warm welcome with a glass of wine, we will dive into the history of winemaking in Salnés Valley at the Vionta Winery. As part of our visit, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views from the winery's lookout point, offering stunning panoramas of the Ria de Pontevedra.
Concluding our tour, we will participate in a tasting of three distinct Albariño wines. Among the featured varieties, you can expect to sample Vionta Godello, Depende, and the renowned Vionta.
This white wine tasting will also include a selection of Galician delicacies, making it an ideal pairing. The fusion of flavors will undoubtedly delight our palates.
The entire tour and tasting experience will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Tour + Galician Cheese Tasting
For those wishing to enhance their winery experience, there is an option that offers a tasting of Galician cheeses. A truly delightful addition!
You will savor three wines paired with a platter featuring three varieties of Galician cheese: the renowned Tetilla cheese, famous worldwide for its unique flavor and texture, as well as the distinctive San Simón da Costa cheese, celebrated for its delightful smoky flavor. Additionally, you'll have the chance to taste the exceptional Galmesán cheese, a culinary gem crafted since 2018 with care and dedication by those passionate about Galician rural traditions.

Important information
10 minutes before the indicated time, meet us at the entrance of the Vionta Winery, located on the outskirts of Meaño (Pontevedra). Please be punctual.

In order to make the visit as pleasant as possible, we would like to remind you of the importance of being respectful to other visitors, so it's forbidden to come to the winery in fancy dress.
In order not to alter the winemaking process, the winery maintains a stable temperature of between 14 and 16 degrees Celcius throughout the year. For this reason, we recommend wearing warm clothes.
