Tour Overview

At the designated start time, we'll gather at your chosen meeting point to embark on this exploration of the museums in Medellín. Are you ready for an enriching cultural journey? Let's begin!

Our first stop will be the Casa de la Memoria, a poignant venue designed to reflect on and comprehend the journey of overcoming armed conflict and violence that the city has faced.

Next, we’ll proceed to the Museum of Modern Art, a hub for locals and visitors alike to engage with modern creations. Here, photography, sound, and the essence of 21st-century Colombian art harmoniously merge.

Following this, our tour continues at Botero Square, a fascinating outdoor gallery showcasing 23 bronze sculptures by the celebrated artist Fernando Botero. In close proximity lies the Museum of Antioquia, recognized as Colombia's finest example of art deco architecture.

As we enter this museum, we will delve into the artistic heritage and historical narratives of the 19th and 20th centuries in the area. Additionally, we will closely observe the most significant pieces from artists who have deeply influenced Medellín, such as Fernando Botero, Luis Caballero, and Pedrito Botero.

Ultimately, we will conclude our tour at the original meeting location, approximately 8 to 10 hours after our adventure begins.
