Activity Details

We will gather at the designated spot outside the Éxito de Robledo supermarket at the scheduled time. From here, a scenic 1.5-hour drive will take us to the charming town of Santa Fe de Antioquia, nestled by the banks of the Cauca River.

Upon reaching the canyon, we will conduct a safety briefing before boarding our boats to familiarize ourselves with basic navigation techniques. Once we are prepared, it’s time to hit the water.

We’ll embark on an adventurous journey down the Cauca River lasting approximately 2 hours. Throughout the trip, we will encounter thrilling rapids contrasted with tranquil stretches that offer stunning views of the Andes mountain range.

Following our aquatic escapade, horses will be ready for us, allowing us to continue our day with a 1.5-hour ride. As we traverse the trails near the river, we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant beauty of the tropical forest, experiencing a slice of Colombian plains culture.

The day will draw to a close with a toast featuring a traditional local beverage. Guests can select from guandolo, tamarind juice, or mazamorra.

Revitalized from our experiences, we will board our transport once more for the return journey to Medellín, concluding our adventure after 7 hours of activities.
