This impressive 11-meter-tall (36-foot) sculpture, adorned in the traditional Colombian poncho and carriel bag, stands out for its unique design and advanced 3D printing technology, making it the largest sculpture of its kind globally.
Created by artist Jamerson Restrepo, the monument serves as a personal tribute to his father and all the victims of Comuna 13’s challenging past. Today, the Christ statue symbolizes resilience, transformation, and hope, and it is a key spot for understanding the significant social changes this neighborhood has undergone.
With this ticket, you will enjoy vibrant and colorful panoramic views over Comuna 13. The viewpoint provides a space to connect with the history, urban art, and culture that encapsulate this neighborhood’s transformation.
