Tour Overview

Our adventure begins promptly at the San Javier metro station. Once everyone has gathered, we will dive into the vibrant spirit of Comuna 13. Are you excited to view its vivid murals?

We will kick off by boarding the metrocable, Medellín's innovative urban cable car, for a scenic round trip lasting approximately 15 minutes.

As we ascend and take in the breathtaking panoramic scenery, we will discuss the significance of this public transit system that links outlying neighborhoods with the heart of the city. Upon our descent from the metrocable, a bus will transport us to the section where you can find the well-known murals and graffiti of Comuna 13.

Throughout this excursion, the narrative of the social evolution of Comuna 13—once plagued by conflict and violence—will unfold.
