Mendoza River White Water Rafting
Description
Experience a day of adventure when you go white water rafting on the Mendoza River. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you try to navigate the Andean rapids.
Ticket Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two rafting options. In both cases, we'll meet at the Potrerillos Park, next to the Mendoza River:
Rafting of 7.4 Miles/12 Kilometers (2 Hours)
With this option, we'll drive for 15 minutes on the Ruta 7 highway to reach one of the main areas on the banks of the Mendoza River.
After listening to the guide's explanation, we'll begin this rafting activity. The experience is perfect for beginners. Over the course of 7.4 mi (12 km), we'll paddle through class II and III rapids aboard the raft. The route is considered moderate in difficulty.
After an exciting 1-hour rafting experience on the Mendoza River, we'll return to dry land and conclude the activity 2 hours later.
Schedule: This activity takes place from May to June at 11 am or 3 pm.
Rafting of 18 Miles/30 Kilometers + Lunch (5-6 Hours)
If you have selected this option, we'll head to Cerro Negro, where we'll sail along this area of the Mendoza River that flows at the feet of this hill. Ready for an adrenaline-fueled experience? Let's go!
This rafting activity will last 3.5 to 4 hours on an unforgettable route of 18 mi (30 km) with class II and III rapids. Midway, we'll stop at the shores of the river to enjoy a tasty lunch at the former train station of Guido. The lunch includes a countryside roast with cured meats, vegetables, salad, and fruit. As a beverage, you can opt for wine, juice, or mineral water.
Afterward, we'll continue the rafting on the Mendoza River toward the area of Tierras Coloradas, where we'll finally head to the starting point.
Schedule: You can enjoy this activity from December to March at 11 am.
