Tour Overview

We will gather at the appointed time at the Hotel Kanz Erremal to kick off our thrilling offroading expedition in Merzouga.

As we traverse this untamed desert, a region only ventured into by the Berebere nomads, there will be plenty of opportunities to capture photographs, wander around, and take in the mesmerizing landscapes.

After around 2 hours of exploration, we will arrive at a hidden oasis, an ideal spot to unwind beneath the palm trees. Here, you can savor a delightful traditional Moroccan lunch and enjoy some relaxation, even lying down on cozy blankets.

Once reenergized, we will proceed toward Erfoud, where we'll have the chance to visit a fossil site. At this location, you’ll witness ancient marine fossils, remnants of an ocean that existed millions of years ago, including orthoceras, goniatites, trilobites, and phacops. We will unveil the secrets of these intriguing remnants from history!

To wrap up our adventure, we will return to the Hotel Kanz Erremal after an enriching 8-hour experience in the desert.
