Tour Overview
Day 1: Teotihuacán at Dawn (8 - 9 Hours)
Your adventure begins with a pickup at your chosen location in Mexico City, followed by a journey to Teotihuacán, known as the 'City of the Gods'. Here, you’ll experience the archaeological wonders as the sun rises over the ancient ruins.
The itinerary includes a stroll along the Avenue of the Dead, and visits to the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, vibrant wall murals, and the impressive Quetzalpapálotl Palace. This day promises to be a captivating exploration of Aztec mythology and culture.
Concluding the day's adventures, you will visit a community workshop specializing in the creation of obsidian objects.
After an immersive 8 to 9 hours, you will be returned to your initial pickup point.
Day 2: Mexico City Exploration (7 Hours)
The second day commences at the entrance of the National Museum of Anthropology. Here, the group will gather before delving into the pre-Hispanic narrative of Mexico within its most significant exhibits, including themes on Pueblos Indios, Otopame, Oaxaca, and Los Nahuas cultures.
Following this, we will board public transport to the city’s historical center, where you will marvel at the National Palace, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the renowned Metropolitan Cathedral, an architectural gem showcasing gothic, baroque, and neoclassical styles.
The day will be rounded off with a visit to the Templo Mayor Museum, home to ruins of the Mexica temple from the heart of Tenochtitlan. This site will provide insights into the pivotal aspects of this remarkable civilization and its cultural legacy.
After 7 enriching hours, this two-day journey will draw to a close.
Pickup Locations
When making your reservation, please take note of the following pickup locations in Mexico City:
- Day 1: If you select the 6:20 am tour, your meeting point will be at the Hostal Amigo. For the 8:45 am experience, you can choose between Fiesta Americana Reforma at 8:45 am or Café Sanborns at 9 am.
- Day 2: Please meet at the entrance of the National Museum of Anthropology between 8:45 am and 8:50 am.

Important information
We'll meet at one of the following locations on each day of the tour:
- Day 1: at 6:20 am or the Hostal Amigo (Isabel la Católica 61-A, Centro)
- Day 2: The flagpole at the entrance to the National Museum of Anthropology at 8:50 am. The day before, your guide will give you the necessary specifications.
We recommend getting to the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.
