Veracruz & Isla de Enmedio Day Trip

Embark on an adventurous day trip to Veracruz and the Isla de Enmedio, where you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Veracruz and relax on its stunning beaches.

Day Trip Overview

Your journey begins at a pre-selected meeting point in Mexico City, where we’ll depart for Veracruz in a comfortable vehicle designed for overnight travel.

After approximately 6 hours of driving, we will arrive at the coastal town of Antón Lizardo. Here, enjoy 1.5 hours of leisure time to have breakfast and recharge. Remember to pick up beverages and snacks for your visit to the island!

Next, we will proceed to the port to board a boat that will transport us to the Isla de Enmedio in just 30 minutes. This island is part of the Veracruz Reef System National Park, renowned for its diverse marine life. Once on the island, you will have 3 hours to bask in the beauty of its crystal-clear waters and pristine sandy shores.

Upon our return to Antón Lizardo, you'll have access to bathrooms and showers before we continue on to Veracruz. This segment will take about an hour, during which you'll be treated to scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Once in the city, you'll enjoy 3 hours of free time to stroll through its vibrant streets and find a lovely spot for lunch.

After exploring the captivating atmosphere of Veracruz, we will reconvene and begin our return trip to Mexico City. Following a 5-hour drive, this enriching day trip of approximately 23 hours will conclude upon reaching our original meeting point.
