Tour Overview

We will gather at the designated time at the Frida Kahlo Museum, located in the renowned Blue House in Coyoacán, to kick off our exploration of two pivotal sites that celebrate the legacy of one of Mexico’s iconic figures.

This residence was where Frida was born, spent most of her life, and ultimately passed away. Throughout our tour, we will explore various areas, including her studio, bedroom, and kitchen, and get a glimpse of remarkable pieces of art like Viva la vida.

Among the highlights will be the bed with the mirror that was installed by her mother following Frida's severe bus accident in 1925, an incident that confined her to bed and ushered in her journey as an artist. We will also stroll through the beautifully designed patio, crafted by her husband Diego Rivera, which prominently features a stepped pyramid showcasing his collection of pre-Hispanic art.

Subsequently, we will make our way to the Red House, also known as the Kahlo House Museum, just a short 5-minute walk away.
