Upon arriving at the Tlílac lagoon, the trajinera transforms into the perfect venue for our performance. The roots of this tale trace back to the accounts of Bernal Díaz del Castillo, a Spaniard who chronicled his experiences during the conquest of the Mexican empire, including tales of La Llorona.

The narrative centers on the spirit of an Indigenous woman, lamenting her heartaches in the Xochimilco canals. This time-honored tale has been cherished through generations, now recognized as Cultural Heritage.

As you watch the performance, you’ll hear traditional Mexican instruments such as those made from clay and bone, including ocarinas, whistling vessels, drums, and gourd rattles, which accompany instruments introduced during the conquest like the marimba, harp, and guitar. Pickup Information

Convenient pickup is available for hotels located in the Central Zone, Polanco Zone, and the Pink Zone. Guests staying outside these areas can meet at the Hotel Emporio Reforma for their pickup.
