This sunrise trek to the Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes offers an extraordinary opportunity to experience two of Mexico's most renowned geological features, coupled with breathtaking views that are truly unforgettable.

Description

We'll gather at the Michoacán Market in Mexico City at the prearranged time. From there, a minibus will transport us towards the majestic Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes.

Upon a two-hour journey, we will reach the Iztaccihuatl - Popocatepetl National Park refuge, where our remarkable hiking adventure will commence. The trail will lead us through the unique volcanic landscape for approximately two hours until we reach Humboldt Peak.

Once we reach the summit, we will take a moment to refuel with a light snack, which includes an energy drink, chocolate, peanuts, a snack bar, and fresh fruit. Here, we’ll have the chance to witness a stunning sunrise over the volcanoes, a sight that is bound to leave a lasting impression.

After regaining our energy, we will begin our descent, soaking in the beauty of the volcanic surroundings as we make our way back. We expect to return to our original meeting point in Mexico City around 7.5 hours later.
