Our adventure begins at 7:40 am, when we gather outside the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel, ready to leave behind the bustle of Mexico City as we head towards the awe-inspiring Basaltic Prisms.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by remarkable hexagonal columns, some reaching heights of up to 30 meters. Enhancing this picturesque scene are four remarkable waterfalls fed by the San Antonio dam—a truly unique feature!

Next, we will venture to Huasca de Ocampo, recognized as the first Magic Town in Hidalgo. Here, you can explore its charming colonial architecture and uncover the local folklore, including tales of goblins. Don’t miss the chance to take in breathtaking views from the Peña del Aire viewpoint.

Afterward, we'll make our way to the Bosque de las Truchas water park, where you have the freedom to engage in various activities organized by the local community.

Our journey continues to Real del Monte, where we will embark on a guided walking tour. We’ll also explore the Museum of the Paste of Mineral del Monte. This delightful paste represents the culinary heritage of Hidalgo, and you'll have the chance to sample it!

At the end of our explorations, you'll enjoy some free time for lunch before we begin our return. Along the way, we'll pause at a traditional "rompopera" for those interested in tasting a delicious eggnog or "rompón."

We expect to be back at the starting point in Mexico City by around 5:30 pm.
