Description

Embark on an enriching day trip to Teotihuacán, where you'll explore its magnificent pyramids, ancient temples, and the renowned Avenue of the Dead in an intimate group of up to 12 participants.

Trip Overview

Do you wish to uncover the secrets of Mesoamerica's intriguing history? Our adventure begins at 61-A Isabel La Católica Street, from where we will board a vehicle for a scenic one-hour drive to the Teotihuacán archaeological site. Let’s set off!

As we travel, anticipation builds for the opportunity to discover this remarkable ceremonial hub. Arriving early in the morning, we will first stroll along the iconic Avenue of the Dead, where each footstep resonates with the echoes of a long-lost civilization steeped in mystery.

You'll marvel at the vibrant murals and intricate sculptures that depict the rituals, beliefs, and the sophisticated urban layout of this ancient city. Our journey will bring us face-to-face with the awe-inspiring Pyramid of the Sun, constructed above an ancient cave considered a gateway to the underworld and with a remarkable alignment to astronomical events. Can you imagine how they achieved such accuracy without today’s technology?

Following this, we’ll admire the towering Pyramid of the Moon, which commands the ceremonial avenue, and pause at the Temple of Quetzalcóatl, adorned with feathered serpent sculptures filled with meaning. Did you know that beneath this temple, archaeologists have uncovered tunnels containing remnants of offerings such as jade and mercury?

After three hours of immersive exploration in Teotihuacán, we will embark on our return trip. To recharge, we’ll enjoy some snacks before concluding the day at our meeting point in Mexico City, wrapping up an engaging total of 6 hours.
