Excursion Overview

Your journey begins at the scheduled time where we will gather at Calle Dalia 22 in Xochimilco, Mexico City. From here, we'll proceed to the renowned canals nestled in one of the capital's most picturesque locales. Rather than a typical sightseeing tour, we’ll set off on a captivating kayak adventure!

Upon our arrival, we will begin by wandering through the iconic streets of Xochimilco, soaking in the atmosphere of the area. After this initial exploration, it’s time to board our kayaks and embark on our excursion in this stunning World Heritage Site of Mexico.

As we kayak, we will glide past lush fields until we reach a chinampa, one of the extraordinary floating islands of Xochimilco. Here, we will take a moment to relax if you selected the breakfast or lunch option. Post-break, we will embark on our kayak journey once again, marveling at the local wildlife and plant life.

Lastly, we will make our way back to the initial meeting point in Mexico City, which will take about 3 to 5 hours after departure, depending on your chosen tour option.

When booking, you can select from the following tour options:

• 3-hour kayak tour: This option allows you to enjoy the previously mentioned tour without meals or hotel pickup.
• 4-hour kayak tour with breakfast or lunch: Opt for this if you wish to savor a delightful meal during the activity. Those opting for the 2:30 pm time slot will be treated to breakfast with pan dulce, café de olla or tea, seasonal fruit drizzled with honey, and chilaquiles verdes. If you select the 3:00 pm slot, lunch will consist of grilled steak, ribs, sausage, tortillas, rice, beans, and either horchata or jamaica water.
• 5-hour kayak tour with pickup and meal: Perfect for those wanting convenience, this choice includes hotel pickup along with breakfast or lunch. This option covers pickups from hotels located in the designated areas of Mexico City.

Key Information

For those booking the 10:30 am or 3 pm tours, we will take a special detour to visit the intriguing Isla de las Muñecas, a mysterious site adorned with dolls hanging from trees. Prepare to be captivated!
