Day Trip Overview

We will commence our journey at the arranged meeting point in Mexico City, departing towards the renowned archaeological area of the pre-Columbian city of Teotihuacán.

Upon our arrival, an insightful guided tour awaits you, where the iconic Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon will be the highlights. Throughout this experience, we will delve into the intriguing rituals that once took place in this sacred location, alongside an exploration of the well-preserved murals that enhance its mystique.

Post-Teotihuacán, our next stop will be an obsidian workshop, where you will participate in an engaging tequila tasting. Following this, you’ll be granted leisure time for lunch to savor local flavors.

Next, our path leads us to the Tula Archaeological Site, an extraordinary region that was once the heart of the Toltec civilization, known as the ancient city of Quetzalcoatl. This city played a vital role as the illustrious capital within the central highlands of Mesoamerica, spanning nearly 16 km² (6.1 mi²).

As we navigate through the ruins that now define the site, we will share tales of its rich history while visiting significant structures including Pyramid B and the Building of the Atlanteans.

Our exploration will also include the Burnt Palace, the Central Altar, the Coatepantli or Wall of Serpents, the Ball Courts, and the enlightening Tzompantli. Additionally, a stroll through a charming botanical garden will further enrich your experience.

After a fulfilling 12.5-hour journey, we will return you to the initial meeting location in Mexico City.
