Day Trip Overview
Our journey commences at the designated hour in Piazza IV Novembre, where we'll set off on this day trip to Genoa from Milan. After a thorough exploration of the city, we will sail towards Portofino, enjoying the captivating Italian Riviera—truly a sensational experience!
The travel time to Genoa is approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour of Italy’s largest port city. This city is celebrated for its profound maritime heritage and remarkable architecture.
We begin our stroll through the historic center, navigating from the Carignano district towards the Old Port. Along the way, we’ll pass by several of Genoa's landmark attractions, including the striking Piazza de Ferrari adorned with its grand fountain, the prestigious Doge's Palace, and the magnificent Genoa Cathedral.
Additionally, we will view the well-known Christopher Columbus House, believed to be his childhood home, before reaching the Old Port. This vibrant area boasts numerous restaurants and attractions like the Genoa Aquarium and the observation Bigo lift.
Following the guided tour, you will enjoy 2 hours of leisure time to savor lunch and continue unearthing the wonders of Genoa at your leisure. In the afternoon, we will hop on a bus to the charming town of Santa Margherita Ligure, where we will board a private boat exclusively for our group, setting sail towards the alluring coastal village of Portofino. The vibrant facades of its houses, chic boutiques, and picturesque harbour will surely captivate your senses!
You will then have an hour of free time to enjoy Portofino, allowing you to visit the historic church of San Giorgio, wander along the shoreline, or simply take in the stunning vistas. Afterward, we will regroup for the journey back to Milan.
After a fulfilling experience spanning 13 hours, we will return to Piazza IV Novembre in Milan.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time at the Piazza IV Novembre, at the corner of Hotel Gallia Excelsior. Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.
Important Info
In the event of bad weather, in which the local supplier's boat cannot be used for safety reasons, the trip will be made on a public boat. If this is not possible, we'll get to Portofino in a different way.
In this case, no reimbursement of any kind will be made.
