At the scheduled time, we will gather in the heart of Milan and board a bus heading north. Are you prepared for an exciting adventure crossing two countries in one day? Let’s begin!
During this excursion, we will have the chance to cross into Switzerland to explore Lugano. Here, you will enjoy an hour of leisure time to wander through this delightful town, where Italian and Swiss cultures converge. We highly suggest taking a moment to sample its renowned chocolate.
Next, we'll visit the picturesque villages of Tremezzo or Cadenabbia, recognized for their scenic beauty, stunning mountain vistas, and lakeside homes that grace the shores of Lake Como. From the selected village, we'll take a ferry to Bellagio, known as the pearl of Lake Como, where you can leisurely explore its quaint streets.
No journey would be complete without a visit to Como. In this beautiful town by the waters of Lake Como, take the time to appreciate significant monuments in the historical center, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta.
After spending 10-11 hours immersed in natural beauty and discovery, we will return to Milan, concluding our day.
Speedboat Excursion
For those booking this day trip on a Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday, enjoy a ride on a luxury speedboat across Lake Como.
Essential Information
- Please be aware that on Sundays and public holidays, most shops in Lugano remain closed.
- For safety considerations, if weather conditions are unfavorable or the lake's water level is excessive, a public boat will be used instead of the luxury speedboat.

15 minutes before the appointed time, please be at the following point in Milan: Piazza Quattro Novembre, next to the Hotel Gallia. Please be punctual.
The meeting point is located just a few meters from Milan Central Station.

To enter Switzerland, please remember to bring the following:
- Citizens of the EU, Norway, and Iceland: they may enter with their ID cards or passports.
- All other citizens: they may only enter the country with their passports.
- Please note that purchases over 300EUR made in Switzerland require a customs stop for VAT refunds. As our day trip does not include this stop, we ask you to avoid purchases exceeding this amount during your free time in Lugano. We cannot be held responsible for any customs issues if this rule is not followed.

If the minimum number of participants required to form a single group is reached, the tour will be conducted in one language instead of doing it in two languages.
