Following the scenic north coast of Jamaica, we arrive at Falmouth, home to the remarkable Luminous Lagoon. Upon reaching the shores of the Martha Brae River, you'll board a boat for an exciting cruise toward this captivating location.
What creates the luminous effect in the lagoon? The glow is produced by countless microorganisms that emit a fluorescent light when stirred. This phenomenon gives the lagoon the appearance of starlit waters, as though the heavens have descended upon the river. Such a natural spectacle is found in only four places globally!
