Arteaga Excursion

Experience a unique Pueblo Mágico located in the scenic Sierra Madre Occidental with this journey to Arteaga, departing from Monterrey.

Activity Overview

On the scheduled day, we will commence the adventure by collecting you from your hotel in Monterrey in the morning. Our journey will lead us towards the enchanting Pueblo Mágico of Arteaga.

Upon our arrival, we will first explore the village's irrigation canal. Following that, we will move through Alameda Square and arrive at the Church of San Isidro Labrador, a remarkable 18th-century basilica noted for its impressive four-tiered tower.

Should you participate in this excursion on a Sunday, you will have the opportunity to wander through the traditional market, filled with a variety of local handicrafts and regional products. You'll have two hours of leisure time to savor some lunch and take home souvenirs.

Next, we will make our way to San Antonio de las Alazanas, a charming area within the Arteaga municipality renowned for its apple and quince orchards.

In close proximity, we will visit the harvesting regions nestled in the Arteaga mountain range, affording you breathtaking panoramic views of the Sierra Madre Occidental.

Finally, on our return journey, we will pause briefly at the village of Mesa de Tablas to appreciate the stunning landscapes of Coahuila. We anticipate arriving back at your hotel in Monterrey after approximately 10 hours.
