Available Hiking Options

When you proceed with your reservation, you will have the option to select from two distinct hiking routes. All packages include hotel pickup and drop-off, transportation to the trailhead, an experienced guide, and necessary safety equipment.

Here’s a brief overview of each route:

Cerro del Chupón Hiking Route (4 Hours)

Upon your hotel pickup, we will embark on a short 10-minute drive to the trailhead. Once we arrive, we'll equip ourselves and review safety protocols before setting out on this thrilling sunset hike.

Cerro del Chupón stands tall as a natural viewpoint within the urban landscape, seamlessly merging city life and nature. The trek initiates with a gentle slope, gradually increasing in difficulty, rewarding hikers with stunning views of Monterrey lit up as the sun sets.

Throughout the hike, we will traverse a dry, forested area that beautifully highlights the juxtaposition of urban lights against the backdrop of nature at twilight. Upon reaching the summit, you will be captivated by a remarkable 360-degree panoramic view illustrating the blend of urban and natural beauty, an experience sure to leave a lasting impression.

The adventure concludes with a return to the starting point, followed by transportation back to your hotel.

Cerro de la Silla Hiking Route (7 Hours)

After you are picked up from your accommodation, we will journey around 30 minutes to the base of Cerro de la Silla. Upon arrival, we’ll prepare ourselves with gear and conduct a brief safety overview before commencing this refreshing water hiking journey.

Our expedition takes us upstream through the vibrant landscapes surrounding Cerro de la Silla, a renowned natural hallmark of Monterrey. Interestingly, its shape is reminiscent of a saddle—an impressive sight to behold!

We will continue along the path until we uncover a small canyon brimming with crystal-clear waters, a secret haven nestled in the mountainous region. From this point, we will take on the final ascent towards the “window” of Cerro Agujereado, a stunning natural rock formation that bestows breathtaking vistas of the adjacent valleys and peaks.

The concluding section of the hike is steep and demanding, yet the payoff is significant: a magnificent mountain view from within the cave, ideal for those seeking thrills and a love for nature.

Upon finishing the hike, we will head back to the starting point and return you to your hotel.

Hotel Pickup Details

This adventure includes pickup from hotels in downtown Monterrey. For guests located outside this central area, we will meet at designated locations based on your selected hike:

• For the Cerro del Chupón hike: at 5 pm at the Tim Hortons on Las Torres Avenue.
• For the Cerro de la Silla hike: at 5 am at the Oxxo store located at Eloy Cavazos and Rancho Del Charco.
